thats what you tell everyone..

not everyone here can get a decent job mike >_< i know 3 cant of age, and others, maybe because everything is too far away and parents would be all "no cause gas is on teh rize!"

unless he has like 10 places near him he could work at...thats different...

Age doesn't matter. Ever heard of mowing lawns? Shoveling snow in the winter? I don't know about other states, but in Kentucky you can get a job at 13, the rest depends on company policy. I'm pretty sure everyone on here is capable of making some kind of money... if you can't find a place that hires people under 16 there are always other options. You act like younger folk are incapable of work. You really fit the stereotype of the lazy American teenager.

1. i am lazy, k? i am The Fat Kid. THE OG Fat Kid...so yes, that would make sense im lazy..

2. everyone in this neighborhood has someone mow their lawn, and possibly after this weekend, i wont have a lawn cause ill be at an apartment complex..so..nothing there

3. it never snows in georgia. well, maybe in the mountains of ga, but thats about it. no snow below them mountains..

4. theres no place close enough to where i live to work at...theres a gas station near my current house, but my mom was all like "yea right youre not working there!"

so its pretty much physically impossible for me to get a job..so stfu about me being the "typical lazy american teen"

1. yes, yes you are very very fat. It's quite obvious from the pics on your myspace. You are, if it is possible, fatter than Evol. :p

2. When I lived in GA, I noticed that most people around me had professionals mow their lawns or did it themselves. And the apartment thing is a valid point!

3. Hey- it flurries sometimes around atlanta! And all the noobs act like it's the end of the world, leave work, and flood the grocery store in case of a blizzard! I mean it's never enough to need to be shoveled or anything... but it's snow!

4. I don't think there is ANY state that legally allows children to work under the age of 15. From a website on child labor:

Personally I can't believe they would let a 14 year old work in a gas station... That doesn't even SOUND ok.

I don't think you're lazy for not having a job at 13. You should be concentrating on school and social activities at your age. When you're older, and driving and dating, you'll want money for that stuff and would need a part time job, but at your age? That's just stupid. I think you're fine.

yea..we do that..it snows, were like "z0mg world r gon end! close down EVERYTHING!" cause snow is like, so rare down here..were like amazed by like 2 inches of snow..i cant imagine us going to like NY or somewhere where the get like 4 FEET of snow lmao and they act like its nothing...

yes, i am indeed "THE Fat Kid" and my myspace pic/s prove it..i need more recent ones, but yes, i iz r fat :p

yes, #2 was a very valid point.. :p

and thats also why i cant work..too young :

ive been trying to tell mike stuff like this, but he nevers listens..he acts like someone can work at like age 9, which they cant...so...

stfu mike.

I had a job when I was 13, at CiCis pizza. I just made the boxes, but it was job. I wasn't even talking to you about the snow part, that was to the dude who was asking for money. I'm pretty damn sure it snows in Pennsylvania. My whole post was meant for him. You weren't complaining about money... but since you decided to butt in and start talking shit I'll bite.

When did I say you could work at fucking age 9? I said 13... in goddamn Kentucky! I always tell you that I'm talking from a Kentuckian's point of view. I don't know jackshit about Georgia, and I say it. See?

Like I said, I don't know about other states. Still, you can find work at any age. Farming, the things I mentioned before, newspaper route... the list can go on. Don't tell me to shut the fuck up. I never listen? Make a valid point and I'll listen. When you try to argue something, you just repeat yourself and ignore all other facts. Yeah... sounds like I should listen to that shit all the time.

Raine, do you still have that website? I'd like to look at it. I'm not even the youngest person at the place where I work... if that's true then I need to talk to the boss.

o rly? dont tell you to shut up? stfu.

and i distinctly recall (check your first post on this page)

you said "everyone here can get a job" (actually i believe it said "can make some sort of money" but i dont care, its pretty much the same basic concept..) and with what i just said, no, not everyone can get a job. youre right, you didnt SAY a 9 year old could get a job, but, with the way youre talking, its like youre saying any 9 year old could.

and actually, yes, i did say something about money. first page..how im not spending 190$ on plastic instruments..cause thats stupid and a rip off..

happy mike? and no, i dont always repeat myself. i made 4 basic points, said something about them. thats not repeating, so stfu if you cant read straight and are just repeating all your other arguments (anytime you argue w/ me you always say i repeat myself..)

I know what I said. From what I know, everyone on here can. I think you need to check again, as I said make money, not get a job and no, its not the same basic thing. You can make money at any age. I don't think I need to list all the things you can do at your age, but if I must, I will. Get back to me on that.

I wasn't talking to you about that. I was talking to Master Cheif. Check the quote. But you should know that, since you quoted me and then started to say crap. By the way, good luck gettin' that new 360 for $190.

This is the first time you haven't been repetitive. When you were telling me Guitar Hero World Tour was not the fourth in the series, you could only say that it used to be 4. But that's not here nor there so fuck that. So now you're going to insult my reading skills? I can read just fine. But I question your comprehension skills.

i think i hear china calling >->

actually no, throughout this whole thing, i havent been repeating myself. you repeat yourself too, actually alot. you hypocrite.

youre right, there prolly is LOTS of ways i can make some money. a yard sale perhaps? k, thats about MAYBE 20$, if im lucky. but with the neighborhood im currently in, that prolly wouldnt work..lets see...lawns is possible, but as ive stated before, not in this neighborhood...i could sell stuff on ebay, but, i have to pay to sell things on there, which i find completely absurd because im trying to make money, not get rid of it..so ebay is also out of the question. im trying to get like 120$ here. 60$ for GOW 2 prolly, but i might wait a while for a patch for any glitches, but idk, i might buy it straight up. and 60$ for SC4 or TFU, or maybe Fallout 3. not sure which one i want yet. TFU has alot of glitches, so that kinda killed it so far. but i wont go into detail on which ones id prefer to buy.

theres lots of things i can do, but since i just woke up and only like half-awake, i cant really think that well. ill get back to you on that.

i know who you were talking to. and i said "you say that to everyone" and prolly sommit else. but whatever, ill stop there. btw, new 360's are 200$, i was talking about the rb2 kit for 190$.

i actually havent been repetitive in most of our arguments. youre just truly trying to find a way to make it seem like your side of the argument is SOOOO much better, and the best way is to say "you repeat yourself too much"

oh look, something else that isnt repetitive...

ok well, im going to stop it here, to prevent further threadjacking on this topic. if youd prefer to continue, PM me..

BTW, Doc, (that's your new nickname, MDub... Md... Doctor... Doc... see that?) if CiCis hired you at 13 and you didn't have a parent working there they were violating child labor laws. The law is 16 except for certain jobs, which can be 15 and occasionally 14 depending on the place. It's never up to company discretion, lol. I believe child labor laws are federal.

13 year olds CAN work farm jobs with their parent permission...

I maintain that kids under 16 should not be working though. Not under normal circumstances.

wow you guys must be brothers or sumthin'....rivalry? anyway i started working when i was 14 washing dishes at a banquet hall, then i worked at a grocery store at 15, but there were some 13 and 14 year olds working there as well, they had limited hours because of restrictions, ex. :During school week-not more than 3 hours worked after school and no later than 7:00 pm. but then again, laws could have changed from then to now...

My mom worked there at the time. And where are you getting your information? When I was trying to get a job when I was 13 the courthouse here told me state law was 13. Of course there are limits on the hours and when you are allowed to work, but whatever. The place where I work now has a 14 year old and a 15 year old, and the 14 year old started when he was 13.

No we're just stubborn... And yes, that's what I'm talking about. There are actually a couple places here that make it known that they hire 13 year olds.
