it's like hmm where do i want to go to rent a new release
$5 blockbuster < $1 redbox

you have to use a credit card so you can't just steal the movie.
you rent it for 1 dollar a night and after 25 days they just stop since you've paid for the movie.
you can rent as many as you want at a time.
they're usually in grocery stores.. i think..

o ok.
but i still dont knw where they keep the disks to thousands of movies

They probably only keep like three copies of new movies and one of the older and they are on a rotating schedule for what movies are available. So they're not actually storing that many movies.

It's literally a huge box/machine that sits there and vends them out; the movies aren't in DVD cases with covers, but in Slim CD cases to pack more in.

yeah, they don't get ALL the new movies, but most.. it's just a cheaper way to rent movies.. it helps save some money for some movies..

yeah, the selection can be limited sometimes. Especially if you work at the store where the machine is located and don't get off work until 11 on a saturday night : \ But its pretty straight as long as you don't have your heart set on one particular movie only to find out its gone/ You can go to redbox.com and find out which movies are in stock at which location though.

o ok thanks i was just wondering.
but whenever i feel like renting a movie i just go to my uncles house.
he has about 900 dvd's so anything they have in the redbox he will probly have.
the only problem is finding the one u want.
which is why i spent 2 days organizing them alphabetically, which was a pain in the arse

They have some in the Big Path mark supermarket downtown in Brooklyn. Me thinks I shall try it!

I figured this would be a good thread to post in but I don't know how many of you use Redbox but they now have games! You can rent games 2$ a night and movies 1$ a night. There is a limited selection BUT they do have 360/PS3 games!!! They even had the new batman game so I'm sure it's going to be like new releases just like redbox. Just thought you guys would like to know.

As shock said, almost all McD's have them either inside or outside. Theres always different promotion codes/1 day free rentals and I believe you do not have to return the DVD to the same redbox but do not take my word on that.

You dont have to return them to the same redbox. These are great, I use them at least once a week
