The movie was cool for the action, gratuitous boob shots, and Gerard (sp) Butler. The flip side for me was that I thought it was the illegitimate love child of "The Condemned" and "The Running Man."

I haven't seen this movie...but I've always seen it as the sequel to Death Race.
Another good comparison.

Inglorious Basterds - 8.5/10
I recently received Inglourious Basterds on Blu-Ray and after watching it again, I feel a change is necessary to my review. And I spelled Inglourious wrong in my first review
NEW REVIEW
Inglourious Basterds - 9.25/10
I guess I just missed something the first time I saw it, but it just stuck to me the second time. Maybe because when I originally saw it, I hadn't seen a Quentin Tarantino film before, and wasn't ready for the craziness, but now I've seen 4 (excluding I.B.), and I think it deserves a higher score.
My runner up for Best Picture at the Academy Awards (1st choice is District 9/Up In the Air)
I went to netflix.com and add Alone in the Dark to my instant queue today and watched the complete movie. Well I thought it was Alone in the Dark anyway. I got through the entire movie trying to figure out when Christian Slater or Tara Reid were going to make an appearance. About 14 minutes before the end I figured I would check out IMDB.com just to make sure I had read right that they were in the movie sure enough they are.
Alone in the Dark IMDB page
So after watching 1 hour and 17 minutes of the movie I was really trying to figure out where the hell Christian Slater and Tara Reid were in the movie only to find out that I had been watching Alone in the Dark II.
Alone in the Dark II Imdb Page
so this whole time I was watching Alone in the Dark II thinking it was Alone in the Dark. After the movie was over I checked my instant queue on my xbox and the poster that is up is for the first movie saying Christian Slater and Tara Reid... WTF NETFLIX WTF. lol this was the first time I had ever been tricked into watching a movie that wasn't the movie I wanted to watch.
So my rating for Alone in the Dark II is 1.5/10 Terrible movie and I'm sure the first one is a terrible movie too but I just wanted to watch it because it's a videogame movie.
I watched it because of Bruce Willis, not bad, not great. 89 min.

LOL! good fail on netflix's part.
and Alone In The Dark does suck. it was supposed to be Christian Slater's big comeback or whatever. and Stephen Dorff (Blade Villain) was big when that movie came out and Tara Reid had just done Van Wilder.... and the movie BOMBED. just fucking horrible. the action is like B grade tokyo movies and the script was written by a two year old. everyone knows Uwe Boll movies suck, but this one took the cake. it's sad to see two half talented actors (Slater and Dorff... everyone knows tara reid is garbage LOL) fall victim to a piece of crap like this. I saw this in theaters and it makes me glad that studios no longer put uwe boll movies on the big screen. LOLz
This movie is waaaay over the top, but Quentin's good as always and I enjoyed it a lot. Watching the second one tomorrow.
Angels & Demons- 4/5.
Pretty good. A LOT better than the first one. i've seen both movies, and read both books, and this movie is more on pace with the book and i think it translates better to the screen than the da vinci code did.

I liked Da Vinci Code better as a book, but I definitely agree that Angels & Demons the movie stayed closer to the source material and overall made a better movie.
Have you read The Lost Symbol?
Liked this one better, more story, that's my thing. Loved how Quentin wrapped it up and am looking forward to Kill Bill: Vol. 3 in 2014.
