Netflixed Blades of Glory on recommendation from a friend (who I now know to never listen to again)
If you like Will Ferrell, then there's a handful of one-liners/Will Ferrell-isms that'll garner a laugh, but overall it was pretty cheesy and a rather disappointing Will Ferrell film.

takes a little time for the plot to build, but if you're into sci-fi, this is a good one

Saw this in theatres when it was first out but recently rented and watched it again. I really like the story, and the movie has good action and pacing throughout. I think they actually did a good job with the changes from book to movie, they made it like Da Vinci Code meets National Treasure. The Italian scientist lady is purdy.

Just got done watching season 2 of Flight of the Conchords, and I know technically it's not a movie, but I watch it in large chunks so I'm going to treat it like one.
Overall I'd have to give this one a 2/5.
I was really disappointed with season 2 overall, as I felt it lacked all of the wit and originality of the first. Now, maybe this is all because I was expecting so much from these two brilliant kiwis, but I can't help but feeling a little let down, especially since it was just announced that they won't be coming back for a 3rd season. It's a shame because these guys are too damn funny not to be on TV, hopefully we'll see them in some incarnation soon.
