Transformers: Dark of the Moon - 1.5/5 (Some 'Ol Bullshit)
I seem to be in the minority here, but, as with the second Transformers, I hated this movie. The more Michael Bay films I see the more I become convinced he's nothing more than a 14 year old boy. Which would actually make sense, because all this movie contains is a god awful story with dialogue that my cat could write, huge explosions, nice cars, and lots of, *ahem,* "good-looking" women. I could ramble on and on about how bad this movie is (negative reviews are so much easier to write!), but for the sake of keeping this review from becoming too much longer than the mini-paragraph it already is, I'll keep it down to just a few things. The good parts of the movie were the new girl, Shockwave, and the visuals. The bad parts were all the plot holes, that fact that I'm supposed to have emotional connections with some of the Transformers, and that the action is just stale. In the first movie the action was different and interesting, but they use almost the same fighting in this movie, and it really isn't interesting. Honestly, there isn't even that much fighting, it's scattered about through the last 30 minutes of the movie or so. That's another problem I had, the movie is much too long and take too long to get going, and once it does, it really doesn't go anywhere. There are plenty of other problems, but I don't want to get into them, they aren't significant to bring up, just enough to make this movie terrible.
Going to see Harry Potter at midnight tonight, super excited for the movie and also for the Dark Knight Rises trailer.

Yeah Kidd I saw it was leaked, but I'm purposely waiting until tonight to see it on the big screen. I'm so excited for Dark Knight Rises I can't even explain it. Dark Knight is one of my favorite movies ever.
