I think it was definitely a mistake going into Iraq, but now that we're there... I don't see how we can just pack up and leave. It would be an extreme waste to throw in the towel now.

Everybody knows that this entire war as been and waste of time, financial resources and most importantly the lives of many brave American men and women. I myself have lost two family members to this "war" that was supposedly over 2 years ago. Its time to correct this mistake and bring our troops home and let Iraq deal with their own situation. May I remind all your Bush supporters that this is the same Presidunce (Yes I spelled it like that because he is a dunce) that said we will find weapons of mass destruction yet we have haven't seen any evidence of this. This is the same Presidunce that said we will find osama yet lo and behold we still don't have him. Someone please explain that???

I hear you man. If we left now though, I'm sure the democratic Iraq government will topple, and who knows how it'll affect the rest of the middle east. If we throw up the white flag, won't all those American men and women have died for nothing? Weather or not it was right for our country, the removal of Saddam Hussein was a good thing. If we don't stick this out, we could be facing someone far worse than Hussein in the future.
I don't know how we can get out of this. It seems impossible to fight this guerrilla warfare. I just hope the next President has a lot more answers than I have.

I hate Bush. We should have never even been there in the first place. I once heard that more Iraqi people have died under US occupation than under Saddam's regime. True or not, it made me think. I know I may be swayed in another direction on this issue than many of you are because of the fact that I'm Arab, and it kills me to see innocent Iraqis die because of the 'war'. America needs to pull out of Iraq as soon as possible. And America needs to start voting in people with some Goddamn sense into the government instead of the previous bullshit.
I can honestly say that Bush, and the US government over the past half century or so, has f*cked up the middle east beyond belief.
