How was I being a smartass? I simply asked a question. Also I was just stating an opinion. It's a pain to upgrade mostly because the parts are too damn expensive and people don't usually know how to, so they end up buying a new one with hardly upgraded features at a full $1500+. Now I'm not going to sit here and say all of apple's products suck. I really love the iPhone and the iPod touch, but like other apple product software, it's too restrictive unless modified (JB Ftw.)
