I just got done playing a little bit of the trial game. I actually might buy this, it was pretty cool, better than I expected but I do have to go along with Raine....the achievements suck

I was touch and go on the whole idea of paying $20 for this game, but while playing the trial game some more I got sucked into the whole thing.
I got tired of seeing the message "you would have gotten this achievement if you had the entire game" lol.
I'm playing it and you know, it is pretty friggin cool and I think it is funny as hell. $20, even though i paid it, I don't think its worth that much...but it's worth playing it. I just wish it was a tad bit cheaper.

This game is awesome (even though it has a steep price). If you have the extra points to spend on it, go for it...I love this game!

It looks like Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness - Episode One has broken through the controversy and landed as the third most successful Xbox Live Arcade game during its launch period.
According to a post from Penny Arcade's illustrator Mike Krahulik (aka Gabe), Episode One sold 16.5K units in the first three days of release. While it's already impressive for a new game wedged between known quantities like RezHD, Ikaruga and N+ to sell well, it's even more impressive considering Penny Arcade was priced twice as high as the rest in the top four.
The top four three-day launch titles on XBLA are:
RezHD -- 25k units
Ikaruga -- 22.5k units
Penny Arcade Adventures Episode One -- 16.5k units
N+ -- 13k units
Also, according to a report by VGChartz.com, Penny Arcade's debut title has landed the top spot as the highest grossing XBLA title to date; at $330,000 in its first three days, PPA: Episode One beat out the previous record debut titleholder, WormsHD.

I've never even played the other 3. I'm all for more RPG's for XBL. RPG is my favorite genre.

I've been enjoying PA ep1 a lot, but it's even better to me reading that Rez moved so many units during its launch. Now THERE is an interesting and fun game.
