New maps, ugh, I just now made it through Act I on single player. I got this game for Christmas, and I must say, I am having all kinds of trouble with the whole duck and cover thing. For some reason, once I finally get hidden behind something, I end up rolling around from cover to cover instead of firing at the enemy, LOL. The shaking camera thing is pretty cinematic, but damned if I don't get a little queezy every now and then.
I am playing it on Casual and it is already a challenge for me, I can't imagine doing the hardcore and higher difficulty settings. This game is sweet as hell, but wow, I must be getting old or something, because it is quite the challenge for me for some reason.
It just doesn't seem to be as easy for me to control like COD2 was. I was in the middle of going through Veteran level on COD2, and that difficulty level wasn't too hateful for me, but this game.... Anyhoot, gonna have to go grab the free maps, so that sometime in the future I'll get a chance to actually play multiplayer, ROFL!

I got to play them!
They are cool but Raven Down is small and only has Frag gernades in it. Old Bones only has a Sniper but that is pretty good if you ask me.

Bah. They both suck imo.
Imagine a + sign. That's Raven Down, with a helicopter in teh middle. You can run form one side to the other w/o sprinting in about 15 seconds. The only weapons are GRENADES which makes no sense to me at all. The map is so damn small that defending against it is damn near imposibble.
The Museum is defenitely better, but it's not that great. The map could have been much better than it currently is, but the setup of the map sucks. There's a Sniper, a Boomshot, and two sets of grenades about 20 feet from eachother, one for each team. If the opposing team doesn't go for grenades, you now have two grenade taggers on your team, and it's damn hard for you to lose. Nobody ever goes for boomshot, and it's not very far from the grenades themselves. The Sniper area is probably the only thing they did right in this map. Perfectly balanced, it's somwhat like the Tyro Station sniper spawn, but more fun and less of a standoff. Fights by the sniper usually take long enough that frag taggers and the boomshot man can come up behind the other team and blow everyone to shit. It could have been much better, but there are quite a few shortcomings you will find after playing it for an hour straight.

They were free, so who cares if they aren't perfect. They provide a unique game experience that some will embrace and others will hate.
