Need some help Guys :(

Ok so i was playin gears 2 and since xbox live was down i was gonna play split screen with a friend. when his profile loads i see my rank go from a 65 to a 1

So my question is, if i delete my profile from my hard drive, can i recover it from xbox live, or does it still have to be on "a" hard drive.

If its not on a hard drive, its still stored at xbox.com and other places right.
So if i deleted it off my hard drive it wouldn't be gone for ever right.

Probably the reason you're level 1 is that you're not connected to live. Your stats on a game are connected to xbox live, not the hard drive. So, once xbox live is back up, you should have your level back.

And also, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a good idea to delete your profile. While you can recover your achievements and profile, you'll probably be deleting your game saves, which can't be recovered. (For example when you recover an account at a friends house, game saves aren't transferred to their xbox, only your profile is.)

Yeah cuz(well im not to sure with EPIC), but all stats and ranks run through servers. Like Call of Duty.....your rank is always there.....no matter what happens to the save data of that game.
