Apparently modders have figured out how to unban their own consoles: ClickMe

Doesn't MS do ban waves every year though. I just think they took out a crap ton more people this year. I do think they've found a way to detect the firmware but I also think that 360 hackers will come out with a new firmware that is undetectable, and the dance will continue. You guys do know that some people with modded consoles actually buy their games right, and it does suck for those people, and MS is just pissing a lot of thier customers off. Plus MS is probably going to lose money no matter what because think of all of those xbox live subscriptions that aren't going to get renewed, 600,000 if that number is to be believed, is a lot of xbox live subscriptions.
Yes, they do an annual sweep now due to the outage about Christmas time a couple of years ago. Whether they buy games or not, if the console's firmware is modded in any way, it's gonna get chopped. No reason to mod a console's firmware other than to pirate or maybe to put in a larger hdd which in my book is not needed. IF they mod, they deserve it. As far as losing money, I really don't think they care all that much, or the sweeps would never happen now would they? Most people that mod, and get banned are still going to go out and get another box, and that is simple fact. The numbers work out on MS's side, believe me.
Yep...that's exactly what the coworker I mentioned in my earlier post did. Got banned (I did indeed laugh), went out and bought a new console and legit copy of MW2, and proceeded to order a burnt copy of Assassin's Creed 2 from "his guy" to play on his banned console (since it's a single player game).

My buddy bought an arcade 360 at smiley's(flea market)
he picked it up for 50 bucks and works great!, but he hasn't hooked up live yet, so I'm guessing it is blacklisted.

If all he wants to do is play offline, then who cares if it's blacklisted... Although it would suck if he ever wants to get DLC or something in the marketplace...

Note: just played the L4D2 and Ellis is suppose to be from GA, we do not sound like that damnit!
Of course not. In Hollywood everyone from the south sounds the same unless they're doing a cajun accent, even though every state has it's little differences.

It just pisses me off. We looked the voice actor up and he is from Texas. So is it to much to ask for a slow talking Ga voice actor? I don't know, sorry about hijacking the thread, "yall get back on topic ya hear"
Lol if they had someone talk slow then he'd be dead before he warned you, lol!
