i was gonna dl the demo for this, see what i thought, but didnt get a chance to (stupid banning) my friend says its sposed to be really awesome tho (he been wanting to get it for over 2 months, since he heard of it)

When u think about zombies attacking a city what the hell do you want a cookie cutter gears wannabe where you can play solo. **Reality Check** You woulden't survive very long by yourself - ever see dawn of the dead or any zombie movie for that fact. Grow up all of you cry babies who can't get past the fact you need team work to get through this game. I bet all of you who hated it played on easy like a bunch of noobs. This game is exactly what I picture when you say zombie apocalypse, with execptions to the Special Infected. Go play gears if you want a good single player game, this is game is geared more towards MP. BTW the guy who is complaining about the players calling out reload and what not. Would you rather have them tell you nothing and let you get owned by the zombie horde. I think they made it just right... don't like my opinion rent the game and play some MP with me I'll show you first hand how great this game is.

Use the half-life engine??? dude go play orange box again, and tell me the graphics are way better, come on! And the physics for the game are perfectly tuned, I haven't seen any flaws yet. So tell me why you think its all wrong, because I'm not seeing it, maybe its you TV. As for the lighting it is perfect, I don't know about you but I can't see crap in pitch black darkness, so why should you be able to do it in the game... to make it easier. !!!NO!!! thats the whole point its supposed to be a dark game. As for the grainy look to the graphics, its an option that can be adjusted. Even George Romero is impressed by the game, and he's the one who start the genre back in the 60's.

okay, that's fair. i can accept balanced.
but MOST online achievements create more bad than good. boosting, haxxoring, game saving, glitching, yada yada. not to mention they're all grind achievements that take more time than skill.
if online achievements were something like "get 5 headshots in a match" or something, i think that would be fine. that actually takes skill. "finish a match without dying." that takes skill.
kill 10,000 people in ranked matches?
get 100 kills with a chainsaw in ranked matches?
(sorry to single out gow, but it's a good example)
my wife could get these if she dedicated all her time to it, and she doesn't even play games like gow. in my opinion, grind achievements like this suck. i'll admit, i tried getting seriously for awhile, but after 7000 or so kills i was just so sick of the game i couldn't stand playing it anymore.
that's all i really have to say.
and to get back on topic, i wasn't trying to bash L4D. not my kind of game, and i was just sharing my opinion of the demo. sorry if i offended anyone.

well, online achievements are okay..my only big deal w/ them is when theyr glitched (gow1 for example...127 chains and achievement unlock, 136 executions. theres a guy w/ 19k+ kills who STILL doesnt have seriously..)
might rent this game, or see what my friend thinks (we usually have a similar opinion w/ games, so yea)

See, im a diehard Valve fan, i have been with them back to CS 1.3 and Half life 1.
I can honestly say they got me into FPS games and why i am such a die hard shootum up gamer. Even though i totally despise zombie type games, i think i will get this game eventually, the demo was fun as hell and im sure it could be awesome with the full version
