okay I have been against the idea of downloadable content in games, now that it is so easy for game developers to penny and nickel us. But I was thinking if game developers give us a few new maps for a game a month or two after the game is released(GoW) and charge us a few bucks for each map what's bad about that? think about it, lets say that they charge you 2$ a map thats nothing most people spend that much on soda each day.
So if you think that it cost to much to buy new maps for a awesome game a few months after it is released(GoW, halo) just give up soda for a day and BOOM there's your money for a few maps that will last you weeks.
so in closing I do not know why I ever disliked the idea of downloadable content a few months after a game release. But I still disagree with maps coming out for a game that is only a week old, if they charge you for them. I don't mind if developers give you free stuff a few weeks after a game is out(i.e. GoW new game mode) But I do not like when they are charging you for stuff that the game should have shipped with.
but all developers bring on the new maps!
