Halo 2 Tourney Update

Halo 2 Tourney Update

A few quick reminders about the Halo 2 Tournament:

1. There are currently 15 people signed up (including 2 maybes), I would like to see 12-16.
2. Check out the XbO Tournament Page for details, seedings and prize list.
3. Tournament seedings will be based primarily off the Halo 2 Ladder Leaderboard.
4. Over the next three weeks, the ladder scenarios will contain elements of the tournament.

What do the last two mean for you all? Quite simply, I would play as many ladder matches against the others in the tournament to try and improve your seeding and learn their style in these maps.

so the seeding will be, the best in the ladder will be playing the worst in the ladder first?

EDIT: I see you added a prize, my question is, is that a one month or a one year to xbox live pre-paid card??

More or less, best vs worst is how it will happem. I paln to have the match participants done by Aug 28th, and add and reshuffle accordingly.

Everyone will be required to hit the Chat room and Virtually "sign in" prior to the matches, so if someone no shows we will adjust the matches accordingly.

I should have full details out by the end of the week.

Pretty much the ladders will determine the top 2 seeds in each match and top 6 overall seeds. I will then fill in teh remaineg slots based on ladder matches, bungie.net info and just sticking people in.

If possible, get in a handful of ladder matches just to get yourself alook see at the top couple of seeds.
