Has anyone else's 360 started having problems after the mandatory update that was just sent out to fix the HDMI issue?
I logged on this morning and my 360 started to update, restarted and updated AGAIN. Then I procedeed to watch a quick video from marketplace, and noticed the video cut out for a moment. Didn't think much of it.
I started to play Rock Band 2, and suddenly my video started (let me try to explain this) separating colors. It was as if I were watching TV on a projection TV and all the color guns were offset. Then the whole video feed just kicked in and out. I am running mine through my PC monitor.
So, I quickly shut off the 360 and started it up again and it worked fine. I was only able to play for about an hour or so and nothing happened thank god.
But a warning to all, read the official xbox.com forums, and search your favorite forums to read up on it before you go signing in to do the update. There seems to be a BIG issue with Red Ring, video problems happening with this update.
I am really nervous about getting home from work and finding out mine is dead again. A lot of people are saying it was fine until they came back later to play again.
Let me know if anyone else has issues.
