pfft there was one lady who worked at like a gamestop or something to do w/ vid games around here like a year or so ago and omg she was dumb as fork for a manager. my dad asked where the 360 accesories were, she had to ask someone who worked there what they looked like and where they were! im thinkin "you got manager and dont know where anything is? god i could do this job better then you!"

which eventually i might end up being, a person who works at like best buy or eb games who knows where everything vid-game related is and is the one asked vid-game questions lol

See thats another thing it seems like the people that work at the gamestop closest to me have no idea what the hell they are doing, I've also noticed that they tend to keep some of the stuff that comes with a game (Example: if you preordered Alone in the Dark you were supposed to get a soundtrack and a T-shirt) well when I went to pick up my copy they said they didn't get the tshirts but when I went back the next day they were all wearing Alone in the Dark T-shirts.

best buy is the opposite employees weren't even allowed to buy the wiu or ps3 when they first came out

Now THAT is bullshit...I preordered alone in the dark and got my shirt the day i pre ordered it, and the soundtrack came with the game (inside the game case)

yeah the soundtrack came inside the case for me too. When I talked to another employee that works there he said that the box was so damaged that they had to throw out the tshirts. But yet they were wearing them so that had to of been a lie. Now if they do the same thing with Fable 2 pub games that I have reserved there (according to the gamestop website they should have them starting next week) I will definitely be finding a different gamestop to shop at.

Lol there is usually a droor or a box in a room where all promotional stuff is stored for preorders etc. When we have stuff leftover employees get pics i have a DOA Calender and poster from DOA Beach Vollyball 2 release along with a whole lot of other shit like posters from ffXII and zelda from wii release and some t shirts and crap too lol. I coulda had some spongebob bobble heads and some sonic dolls but i really didnt want em. If i do get the job though and i start picking up promo stuff ill grab everything i have and start having drawings/tourneys or something to give out back to the community. So hopefully i get this job and ill just grab the stuff for promo whenever i can

I'm a 3rd key at my gamestop her in Louisiana, about to be promoted to Asst. Mgr. Gamestop is a much better job than Blockbuster. Gamestop allows it's employees to rent games for free anyway.

yet i think ill have to wait a few years because i doubt theyd hire a 13 year old (as in like..with what the normal workers do..id be like the dude who puts up boxes for minimum wage or something :yes:
