The multiplayer aspect of GTA4 is very fun; I wasn't sure what to expect, but I think they managed to nail everything I would have asked for in a multiplayer Grand Theft Auto experience.

I have played all of the GTA games and this one is by far the best. The driving is kind of hard at first but nothing to difficult to master. As someone else said, drive as many different cars as you can. Anyone that complains about this one probably sucked at the other GTA games... And anyone that thinks a 2nd crackdown or Saints Row will be better are very mistaken. GTA sets the standards for this genre of games and GTA4 is the first GTA on next gen systems. All the stuff that crackdown boasted as being new was in fact not new at all as you had 2 player in San Andreas and could do so much. Like having one person drive a truck and have the other in the back shooting, or even fly the harrier jet and have someone one the wings walking back in forth shooting down the other plans in the air. GTA4 is amazing and deserves 10/10. Once you play some multiplayer with some friends on free roam you will understand why this game is so amazing. Even if you don't have internet, the single player has been so good up to the point i am at. So like i said, most who complain about this one probably just suck at GTA games in general. Yes this one is a bit harder to get down, but deal with it!! If your a gamer you can handle any game of any genre!

WELL...thats why patches exist anyway, remember that the game has only 5 or 6 days in the market, youll see that Rockstar will fix many details in the months to come.

Ok first off there is no such thing as a "Perfect" game. Every game that has ever came out from any company that has been deem a 10 or close to a 10 has flaws or thing with in it that could have been done better.
That being said, It is my personal opinion that this GTA 4 is a 10 being that it is the best of the huge sandbox playground genre so far.
Now again, of course the game has problems, but other games that came out like Halo 3, Call of duty 4, Gears of War, Final Fantasy 7, forza motorsport, Metal Gear Solid series, which I also think are tens, also had Graphic glitches, slow moving opening story, and problems with the multiplayers, control issues, and problems with the cameras. Still they are none the less great if forever memorable games in each of their genres.
Has the GTA 4 been overhyped, yes. Unfortunately, the release of games today now rival the release of big budget movies and unfortunately it makes the anticpation bigger than the reality of the game.
Now no game will ever make everybody happy, that is just the way thing are (I don't like Guitar Hero Gasp!!!!!) but you have to give the game its dues because at least 90% of the people who play it love it. and if everybody love every game that dropped there wouldn't be anything to measure a good or bad game against.
In the end we all have to agree to disagree agreeable
