Koudelka?! NO!!! I spent months of therapy to forget that game after I played it. I thought I had escaped....
My favorite RPG...Hm, well I really did enjoy Fallout 3. I have fond memories of Chrono Cross, FFVII & VIII, and a ton of other Playstation RPGs. The Lunar games were awesome, even though I played them out of order.
And for the Shenmue fans, 'how about a game of Lucky Hit?'

Quote by PSORaine:
The difficulty was RIDICULOUSLY high... I used code breaker but then the end battle was just... stoopid.
FF XII final boss was cake if you leveled up enough to kill the optional boss - THAT DUDE WAS SICK. I think it took me about 8 hours just to kill him. It was nice you could run out save and go back in before his health would recover....
I spend 100 hours in that game and I still hadn't completed all the side quests.
Heck I have a hard time finding an RPG I don't like.

I've never been able to narrow it down to one favorite, but it's one of the following:
Chrono Trigger
FF III
FF VII
Lunar: Silver Star Story
Secret of Mana
No current-gen RPGs are even close on my list. SNES & PSOne had the best RPG libraries by far.

Fallout 3 is coming around to peaking my interest I will admit....it took a little white but after I forced myself to play more of the game I find myself getting really into it....My other one is Mass Effect

I can't narrow it to one
Chrono Trigger is still my fav game of all time.
Final Fantasy 6 is my favorite FF game, even though I also loved 10, 4 and 7, while hating 12 and 8.
I also loved Losy Oddessey, Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, and I recently enjoyed Eternal Sonata.

Dragon Warrior was great and I loved the Diablo series (They could just directly port those to the 360 and I would buy/play them again for hours!). I am thoroughly enjoying Tales of Vesperia right now.
But one of the first I can remember truly loving was back on the Commodore 64 - a game called Phantasie. link for the interested

meh, im not a big rpg fan. fallout was ok, but eh, not my type of game :/
ive never really been able to get into RPG games...i dont like that every two seconds i have that stupid stats thing coming up telling me to upgrade my stats...
atleast fallout and all them werent as bad of a failure as Too Human. i had a friend who bought it, and he TRIED to like it, he says he really did, but he just couldn't get into it. the only thing he liked was how it looked, everything else sucked
