I can't believe I got the 'Elika saves you less than 100 times' achievement in my first and only playthrough of Prince of Persia. Nice little first pump when that popped up on after the credits.

"Be the Knife"(re5) and "Suicide Missionary"(gow2) are my faves so far. well, those and "Jump Shot"(l4d) they were all pretty difficult. crustyhippy helped me w/ suicide missionary, and the other two i got by luck. i had been trying for jump shot but never got it, and i got it randomly on death tolls finale (going for the red mist achievement) and randomly got it from a hunter coming up stairs 
ftw. be the knife was when i was randomly knifing a majini because i ran out of ammo lol.
my fave ahcievements, so far anyways. i also like "Ghillies in the Mist" from cod4. thats what i call that level now, and i just kinda like the name. its cool.

The first one that comes to mind is "The Power of the Atom" from Fallout 3. Not hard at all, but if you choose the right path (err... well I guess in this case it would be considered wrong) you get a welcome surprise. I won't give any spoilers, for those who have yet to play the game, but the name speaks for itself.

My favorite achievement was completing the Mile high Club on Veteran. It took me 2 years to finally get it. And My other favorite achievement is completing Heart of the Reich on Veteran difficulty in COD: World at War. That was one achievement that I didnt put the controller down and play anything else till I beat that grenade shower of a level.
