uh-oh! i think you should both play it! i should talk, i never finished the first one (i'm right at the end) and there are 2 other half-life's on the orange box. team fortress kicks ass and is very different (anyone want to get the 7 friends online together achievement?) but i did play portal all the way through and you should at least experience that. there is no other game like it plus the song that Gladis(?) sings is epic!

I just can't seem to leave Megaton for some reason. I always love to fast travel back there just to hear my robot tell another joke to me and see my collection of bobbleheads and locker crammed full of junk I haven't found a use for yet.

I am still going on the main quest though and just now got to the part (SPOILER) where I learned Power Armor.

For some reason this game is really kicking my ass. I'm lvl 4 and playing the game on normal mode; am currently stuck in the super-duper mart area. I haven't really done much since leaving megaton except die!

lol i released the robot and he asked me to show my superduper mart badge, when I didn't comply he started shooting lasers at me

Yeah Fallout is great. I've never really played the other Fallout games before this. It's totally enjoyable. I spend alot of time roaming the DC city area or NW from the Megaton area. I'm pretty excited about the DLC coming out. Though I was a huge fan of Oblivion so I guess I'm biased...
