Try this instead...
Get a second controller and join your game with a second player, but don't put a profile with the second character. Dump all of the second character's abilities and leave the game! When the second character leaves, all of the EXP. is transferred to the main hero.
If you start a random character, they start with all of your abilities, so the higher your level, and better your abilities, the more benefits you reap!

How to clear the cache? Do you mean just go delete my fable save file and start over??

This glitch is so OP. I run around with rusty weapons 1-shotting everything lol.
