I believe some of the main quests need to be done for the rest of the world to open up and other jobs to be had. What you do start off with is pretty big though.
I took the plunge and have gotten married and have a kid right from the get go. Wow!!

well i rented it today, and have been pretty neutral so far. but ive bene told ive stole onece (had to buy me a weapon man..wasnt good, but it was better then the crossbow) and apparentally i vandalised and was forced to do community service, aka taking out 4 criminals who were quite freakin tough >_<
havent gotten too far, got kicked off by my bagelly bro so he could play forza..he needs to get himself a mem card to he can play on his own console >_<

Dude, how could you mess up like that, you shoulda done what i did, save before you one shot lucien, chose the card you dont want, get the achievement, dashboard, reload, other card you dont want, dashboard, load again get the card you want and your last achievement.
Heads up for anyone who hasnt finished the game.

if she fails ill just make her cheat on you, mines all being a bagel cause i was trying to impress some crossbow trader (a GUY nonetheless) so i could get a gift (he had the icon above his head)....but she doesnt realize im just using her for achievements (spouse, kid, and second spouse for the win!) and then she shalt die...
btw, what else happens when you do evil things? currently i have small devil horns, if i continue will i end up similar to the guy on the instruction manual? the red guy?

I played through most of the game and managed to stay neutral, but I finally went crazy and am now Evil, yet my corruption level is still about middle, so yeah.
