On occasion, something hiccups on the site due to all the traffic we get and the site just hangs. After several seconds, the server realizes this script isn't going anywhere and it shuts down Xbox America and the related websites temporarily to prevent the script from interfering with other websites on the same server. When this happens, you'll get a "Your account has been suspended" warning that mentions a CPU Exceeded error. Don't worry, it's not your Xbox America account that was suspended. Whenever this error occurs, the host reopens the site in 5 to 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it at the moment. I will try and work with my host more to try to figure out a solution, but it doesn't look promising. Most likely we'll have to live with these errors. The alternative would be upgrading to a virtual private server (around $60/month) or a dedicated server (around $100+/month) and that isn't an option for me. That's a big step up from $100/year. I don't have the money and I know you guys have better things to spend your hard earned cash on.
I just wanted to explain the situation to everyone and let you know what's going on so you don't freak when you get the error. (Sorry about the alzapa!)
Sorry for any problems these darn errors cause,
J
