Well, out of that list, I'd have to say Bioshock...but, and now I may become hated for what I'm about to say, but...
IMO (you know something stupid comes out whenever someone starts out saying that) Bioshock was really overrated. Yes, as far as summer releases go, without a doubt it was the best title of summer (stacked up against the played out Football franchises and Two Worlds, biggest flop of the summer), but I think it is undeserving of all the hype that it is getting.
What I mean is I'm getting tired of people being like 'OMG, you gotta get this game, it is absolutley amazing, you need it!" It's the same played out mechanics that I'm used to seeing from TakeTwo. Yes, the graphics are amazing, the storyline is sweet, and all the weapons are cool. Right, and I said and have seen people say the same thing about Prey when it came out, and then again about The Darkness. Their formula is just getting played out to me.
It has no multiplayer, first of all, and no, that doesn't make or break a game. Prey had a multiplayer that was cool...when it worked and when people played it. The Darkness' multiplayer seemed like kind of an after fact, and I actually think it took away from the game. At Bioshock, they didn't even bother with one. All I'm saying is I'm tired of playing through these games and beating them in less than a rental period.
You can't die, so even if you suck ass, you'll still beat the game, which takes away the challenge and excitement to me. The game, while all three have great storylines, are so incredibly short that I'd be pissed if I spent 60 bucks and beat it in less than a week (which is what happened to me with Prey). Where's the substance? Then I hear 'oh, well when you beat it you'll want to play through it again.' I don't buy into that; I don't care how cool or amazing the game was, I have almost never played through a game again after beating (except for achievements, and even then I don't do it too often). Then there's 'Oh, well the graphics are amazing! The water looks so real' and that's great, but I can only stare at water shimmer in 1080P for so long before I get bored and wonder where the hell is my game?
Anyways, had to get that off my chest. Bioshock is a good game, and deserves it's credit as best title of summer, but it's nothing that hasn't been done before TakeTwo needs a new formula, because this one's not doing it for me anymore.

I'm in the middle of playing Bioshock right now for my review, and it's definitely the best out of that list. I'm not sure that it deserves the perfect 10s across the board that EGM gave it, but it's definitely a solid title.
My review of it should be up early next week.

Yeah you can definitely have the review for Bioshock, Hoch. My brain has kinda died after writing MOH: Airborne. I wish I had more money and time to check out more new games. I'm picky about the genre I review. But I guess it's better to have a reviewer who reviews games/movies/music/whatever they are interested in rather than FORCE them to review something. Personally i think if you don't match your reviewers with what is to be reviewed, the quality goes down substantially.
