I really want to get it but I'm a little worried. From what I hear, the first 8 or so hours are absolutely great but as the game progresses it goes downhill. It becomes less strategic, a lot harder, and very repetitious. I'm going to try and rent it from somewhere.

I think I'm going to settle on borrowing a friends copy when he's done with it. That way if the reviews are true about it being fun for a limited time, I didn't waste my money.

i bought the game recently and its by far my new favorite game im on the 3rd memory now and it seems like ill beat it soon but i dont have nearly close to all the flags and only like 25/60 of the templars killed and this is the type of game i can play for 1000/1000 and i love lookin at all my games and seeing all those 000's hahaha...my opinion if your not going to buy the game then rent it atleast cause its bad ass
