oh thats so irritating now...
idk know why, but now im hearing the "bloops" outside of gaming. like, during school, watching tv, etc....its kinda weird O-o cause as soon as i hear it i look down (force of habit, im usually lookin at the mid of my screen and look down to see what the achievement was) and then i look around when i dont see it

That just happened to me, I was playing Guitar Hero 2 for the first time and finished a song, someone came on, finished another, achievement. Then like 2 more songs and friends came on.

yea, but what's really weird is when you actually see the achieve bubble. like, i'm at work, 12:00 p.m., and all of a sudden, "blup", achievement unlocked-"work 5 hours straight and make it to lunch" -25gs and then another one at the end of the day and a great big one on friday. i love achievements!!
