Add a note to the Calender....

...Cuz Hektic is GRADUATING THIS MONTH!!!!!! Woo! After three long years at the community college, I am actually going to graduate

I never thoguht they would finally offer the courses I needed. I have two Incompletes I need to make up, but I am allowed to partake in the ceremonies and receive a certificate; when I finish those two courses they will mail me my Associates Degree...which is actually what they do to everyone (Even if you are fully completed, you just receive a certificate at commencement and have to actually wait for your degree).

That\'s totally awesome, PARTAY!!! May 31 is graduation day, which is ironic because that is the same day as my Mom\'s Birthday (So I don\'t have to get her a gift, right? I mean what could be better than seeing me graduate?!) Out of all the members of my family who attended college (This same college, in fact), I\'m going to be the first one who actually finished and got my degree! Time to finish up those two courses and look for a new school...

I get my bachelors on May 16th! I'm so excited to finally be done, it actually took me 5 years instead of 4, but I kinda screwed around the first 2 1/2 years and got myself way behind.

Thanks you guys! Yea, I'm transferring to a different school, but right now I've got a sweet job as a Network Administrator for the school department in my town, so hopefully I won't have to look for a new job for a while

Degree means more money though!!!

Congratz Hektic!!! When I graduated from the local community college (in 2003, geez im old) they gave me a certificate and mailed me my degree. The funny thing is that during that time I was getting so Fu$ked up I never got my degree sent to me, or I lost it, and I still dont have it LOL!!!.
On a brighter note I graduate in August with my B.S. in Psychology and the next week I start up Graduate School. It looks like I'll be in school for another couple of years but hell I consider myself a Professional Student.
Once again Hektic Congratz, that is a big accomplishment, and if/when you transfer get your Bachelor Degree in something usefull. I'm getting mine in Psychology, which pretty much means I have to get my Masters or I wont get a "good" job.
