tbh i dont have a problem per se w/ the man smoking weed. it is his decision. i just think the "why do you care? it doesnt effect you" comment/comebacks are the stupidest comebacks ever. i just asked if he was pro-marijuana becuase most of the time people who defend weed smokers ARE weed smokers which makes their comment just seem kinda pointless because of course their going to stick up for their drug...

honestly i know this isnt a kid friendly site. and tbh the dude who was talking about his kid getting on here, tbh id HOPE you have decent-enough control over your kid to watch what hes doing while on a computer, especially since the child sounds young since you seem concerned w/ him seeing it. ive hes over 12/13 tho, i see no problem w/ him seeing it. id say thats a reasonable age to explain. maybe even younger, depending on the kid..

besides that, jackson himself has even admitted me smokes a lil bit of cannabis every now n then...so im sure he wouldnt care if people talk about it..

Because Jackson is all about the free speech and open discussions, but he doesn't abide personal attacks against people and remarks that are purposely inflammatory.

Again, the idea is that we are a community of gamers that come here primarily to talk about 360 stuff, and then also whatever else is of interest to everyone as gamers.

As Jackson has said in the past, the community can and does moderate itself well enough for the most part, that's why Mini and I aren't constantly locking up threads and banning people. I really don't think there is any need for heavy-handed moderation.

If it was a brand new member and they posted this, I would IP ban them without a second thought.

If it was someone who has been here awhile and trades games with people on the site then I would be more lenient and ask wtf was going on.
