3DS vs. Vita

Im thinking about getting one of these and just couldn't decide. I was wondering your guys opinions. If you guys have either one and how you like or if you have both and which you like best. And maybe it can help others trying to make the same decision.

3D-This would be a pro to most but I hate 3D. But im pretty sure theres a thing where you can turn it off

This is all i have come up with so far. I havent looked too deep into it.
Any opinions would be appreciated. Dont forget to vote in the poll it helps me out a lot to see which way things are swinging.

Any mod can fix your poll if you ask nicely!

As for the question, I personally say DS just because of the games. I only play 360 as far as consoles, so that would allow me to still get my fix of the Nintendo exclusive games without having to dust off the Wii.

Also, yes, you can adjust the 3D intensity on the 3DS. You can use as much or as little 3D as you like!

I enjoy the vita. I just wish they would make more games for it. I think because of the ultra small library of games, it will be the undoing of the vita.

The 3ds is only good for mario, other than that, I can't stand the thing.

This is my biggest knock on the Vita, and it looks like it's everyone else's as well.

This is my other major problem with it. Why would they make something so cool as a selling point, before they realize that nobody is going to bother to make games that utilize it?

I'd go old psp over a vita, but ds is my handheld of choice. I recently got a 3ds, but the top screen backlight is out so I have to send it to Nintendo before I can play it. :0

Pokemon white/black 2 (which is better better the ds Pokemon games?)

derp thread revival! I never ended up picking up a 3ds like I said I would. I was wondering if anyone had one, and what games I should pick up?

I gonna get:
white 2 (trade with circus since he has black 2 lulz)
donkey kong country returns (anyone hear anything about this?)
world ends with you (opinions?)
Kirby collection
chrono trigger

I haven't heard much about 3ds games, kingdom hearts, monster hunter, and fire emblem all look promising.

There are some games that are classic and obviously you'll have no trouble discovering them, but there are also some really interesting-less mainstream games that utilize the 3DS features.

One of the more interesting games to me was Spirit Camera. It's not going to break new grounds as far as story goes (typical J-Horror style) but the interactive areas are worth looking at.

It utilizes an enclosed book that acts like an AR card, making faces or words appear on the pages. It's a short game and lots of people complain that you have to play in a well-lit room. My whole house is pretty dim and I didn't have any problems.

The price has dropped significantly (its $9.50 on amazon) and I'd play it just based on the novelty alone.

Anyone play Monster Hunter 3? If so, any good?
