Well I'm picking Miami vs Tampa Bay. I did have the Giants but I just don't think they can do it without Plaxico, and the Cowboys' team chemistry is just a mess. I like TO but he's really acting even more immature than Ocho Cinco.

tomorrow the steelers play the ravens.
you may or may not have heard, but a certain member of the ravens has put out a "hit" on heinz ward. i might have spelled that wrong...
but seriously... a HIT. does anyone else find this royally fucked up?

he's not my favorite player, but he's damn good.

I'd love to have a guy like Ward on the Bengals, but he's not so fuck him. And you gotta admit, that block on Rivers was cheap. Legal, but cheap. There was no way that Rivers was gonna catch up to the running back. Especially when the safety was in front of him ready to knock him out of bounds.

Scot said it best, defenders can't hit the WR when they go across the middle without getting fined but WRs can lay out defenders (damn, that sounds weird) and not get any fine. If it were up to me, I wouldn't fine any of them and let them play football, but my point is if its fair for one its fair for all. Defenders can't hit so why should offensive players?

And Raine, aren't you a Ravens fan?

you know what, i agree. let them play football.
and that's exactly what ward does.
he goes in there and he gets it done. he doesn't try and hurt anyone.
it's easy for you (or anyone) to say "wow... that guy was 10 yards away! what a cheap shot!" but when you're actually playing the fucking game and trying to win, that guy is dead smack in your face.

so no, i don't think that hit on rivers was cheap.
that shit happens within split seconds. we get to see the recap and think about it. they don't. it's all BLAM for them.

and i'm not being biased. i love the steelers, but i watch other games, and there have been many similar instances where i've had the same opinion.

with that said, even if he DID land a cheap shot, is that any reason for you to wish that someone fucks him up? he's a man, like you and i.

and raine, ward plays some great football. he's not my favorite, but he's up there. ben can't always get to him, however, lol. it's a shame, but football wouldn't be as fun if it were always the same two men making it happen, in my opinion. ben and willie used to be dynamic for awhile. willie still tries, but he just doesn't have it anymore.

good football is unpredictable football.
just look at last year's superbowl!
or even the steeler's last game against dallas!
did anyone REALLY see that coming in the 4th? that's good football!
