Question for those of you who own this:
I see the commercials on tv with the player speaking to the Xbox to do the voice commands. In at least one commercial (the girl playing the game) has a very heavy accent, noticeably right away. So, I'm thinking maybe they want me to notice and think I could be understood too.
How accurate is the voice recognition in your opinion? If you put on a seriously extreme southern accent (like Paula Deen or True Blood) does it still recognize what you're saying?

Mindy, it'll never understand you. Even I don't half the time.

I'm not sure Mindy, I don't really have an accent (as far as I can tell) but it picks up my voice fine. Maybe try and find some youtube videos of people with different accents using it and see what their results are. It's not perfect yet as you have to use the exact words it says, so instead of saying yeah or yep you have to say yes, and you can't say like "open netflix" it needs to be the exact wording.
but now it's been a week since launch, how is everyone enjoying their xbox ones so far?

Someone help me out, I want a racing game but which one should I get based off of your opinions?
Forza or NFS Rivals?
I know they are different in comparison...but I'm just looking at opinions and a why.

My wife has a strong southern accent and it seems to pick her up just fine. I mean when I say strong....I mean Dolly Parton strong.

I don't get the damn party/game invite system? I couldn't figure out how to invite my friend into a game of Ryse? Am I really that dumb when it comes to this? I would normally consider myself technically intuitive.

The party system and party invite system is my only problem/issue with XB1. It seems to break more than it works especially in Dead Rising 3.

I mean I literally invited my friend from the in game menu and it invited him to a xbl party but then I couldn't figure out how to actually start the game itself?

it kind of sucks lack of arcade games being added to the marketplace.

Did you try LocoCycle yet? Its not an incredible game by any stretch, but the comedy helps break up the repetitive gameplay.
Its also a easy completion, super waffle actually XB1 shows me at 4 hrs to 1K
I like that XB1 shows how long you have played a game.
Where does it show how long you have played a game? In the achievement section/app?
