Most of them are 720p. The 1080 is upscaling.
I think that MS is going to leverage their resources to make the first year of One all responsive and cloud-y, but at the same time I feel like a lot of the DRM "features" that they initially spouted will come creeping back over the One's lifespan.
+edit+ Also I re-re-edited the article to give proper credit to Scarface1--thanks man!
I dunno, I've seen a lot of games at the 1080p level. There's hardly a difference between 720p and 1080p anyways. They can't push the graphics too far since the new organic displays that are supposedly 4x the 1080p now are so ridiculously priced that only .000001% of gamers would be able to afford them.
The next next gen consoles are something I will definitely be keeping my eye on.
To be fair and unbiased, most people would respond to me by saying, "Just buy a PC then". There's a difference between resolution and better engines to better render graphics on top of having a minimum capacity of 25 GB Blu-Ray Disks, 720p and 1080p don't mean much graphics wise.
That's like saying The Legend of Zelda on N64 at 1080p is gonna look better than Twilight Princess at 480i on the Gamecube. It's not. Because of the higher capacity of disks vs cartridges there's room for better textures hence better graphics. There's a lot more involved. Pretty much Battlefield 4 is gonna look tons better on Xone than 360 because of the upgraded hardware and capacity.

Nay, the damage has already been done. Who's to say M$ won't go back on their word after they release the console?
The DRM likely won't creep back until summer 2014.

Well look who decided peek out! What are you looking forward to, if anything, from the next generation of gaming consoles ZomYak? And what do you think of Spartacus Legends?
Yeah. ZomYak. That's your name, now, Nemesis.

I personally don't think it will happen at all. there would be way too much backlash that would destroy their image.

I can't wait for Battlefield 4. I have been an all-out Microsoft supporter in the past but lately it is getting harder and harder to defend them. I am not too keen on paying the company that developed the N.S.A. Spyware to put a camera in my living room. I am looking forward to the f2p PS4 MMORPGs Planetside 2 and Marvel Universe. My battlefield squad have decided to make the switch to Sony. If M$ later decides to release the rumored £379 Xbox One Basic without a Kinect then I'll pick it up and enjoy exclusives on both consoles like I did this console generation. I would dub you Revme, but its sounds sexual, ha. Oh yeah I almost forgot, streaming the full PS4 library to my vita is going to be rad.

at least the vita won't be useless garbage anymore I guess. I can't believe I bought one of those.

I voted no because the current "functionality" of the 360 is shit. Its been about 4 years since they introduced the party chat and it still randomly shuts down the parties or boots people. The ads and load times for basic functions drive me nuts every time I play the damn thing. If the servers run well and someone finds a way to have it run without the Kinect I will reconsider, but for now fuck that thing and the assholes that made it...

I'm definitely waiting before I get one to be honest. I know there's going to be issues with the first release consoles and such and I have terrible luck with them. I'm fine with my 360 until it completely breaks pretty much (which honestly seems to me like it will happen within the next year or so) THEN I will get the One.

Image doesn't matter once you've made a profit......that's like a woman saying you're bad in bed....it doesn't matter cause I still screwed you
Lol, you must be used to hearing that if that's the example you used.
