Where the heck are you renting from? Same here.

BlockBuster is right up the street and they charge $9.00 for 5 days. $4.00 for 2 days is a great way to try a game or beat an easier game.

If I remember correctly, I'm pretty sure my Redbox had stuff on release date, or within release week, so they must not have that same restriction that they do on movies with the month wait.

Yeah same here, they get them on release date, but it might take a couple days longer for the person to actually put them in the redbox....That's what has happened in the past, Two Worlds 2 and Duke Nukem Forever, redbox said the were available, but no one around us had that actual game for maybe 2 or 3 days after release date, which isn't bad

So maybe they changed their prices so they'd be able to get some more business until they do decide to close their doors.

I used to love hollywood video here until it closed, they had a plan where you could pay $30 a month and have unlimited game rentals. I went there daily it seemed like :laugh:

Yea they axed that plan around here a while back. I think that's why they lowered the game rental price.

Oh, lol, I haven't lived anywhere near a Hollywood video in over a decade.

So we went to one today, got the transformers game, and went to get another copy and the machine only had one. Drove to a few more, and none of the ones in our area have it. Gamestop doesn't have it used in our area yet, and it looks like we'd have to drive over 50 miles to find a redbox that has a copy. Gaaaahhhh, there goes that idea for completing it, lol.

Just give it some time, It'll be there eventually.....

Heard on another site that they're going to do the keep it for so long and it's yours thing. The same site said its going to be 25 days as well, that means you could possibly get games for $50 instead of the $60 it would cost you otherwise.....Depending on if your morals allow it anyway.

Same here, we have had games in our RedBoxes since January. I haven't tried it yet though. There is never anything I'm interested in.
