Around 3am CST there was an update to the Xbox 360 dashboard.

I will update this article as I get info on what changes occured.

Isn't it downloaded automatically? I thought they would as its always in standby. Or "Instant On" mode whatever its called.

Ok so yeah, if your Xbox One has been on/in standby mode for awhile the past few days, it may have already grabbed and applied the update in the background.

Today is the final day so for the people that have their Xbox One setup to go all the way off/not in stand by, at some point today it will force a manual update.

I'm beginning to think this might have been one of those updates that doesn't do anything besides de-activating a bunch of software used by hackers and modders.

But I hope that is not the case because I have already read about the update on 3 different modding sites and they all say the update is safe for consoles that were recently modded and survived the last update, and for people that use Horizon software.
