Alan Wake to be "like a TV series"

For all you gamers out there that are patiently awaiting the release of Alan Wake (Like Me :D) it was announced at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) that Alan Wake will get Post-Release DLC and will have episodes kinda like a TV show.

Now I don't know about you but Lost happens to be one of my favorite TV shows and Stephen King is one of my favorite authors, so this has me uber excited :D

Gamestop has Alan Wake's release date as April 12, 2010, hopefully it will actually be released then and not be pushed back once again as I and many others have been patiently awaiting it's arrival since it was announced back in 2006 :p

Read about this a couple times in GameInformer and it looks promising. What's your favorite King novel? I'd have to pick the Dark Tower series. I read most of his shit when I was in high school. Not as much these days.

neither of us have read any of the dark tower series.

i think my favorite is "desperation."
"cujo" and "the stand" are amazing as hell. so is "christine." ah hell how can i pick?!

anyway, i'm looking forward to this game very much.
they mention twin peaks as somewhat of an inspiration too. VERY good series.
