It is now Jan. 5th. XBOX LIVE has been completely unstable since mid December. Today I am going to call the local gamestores to find out the trade in value on this pos xbox. I am SICK of having to deal with issues that are completely microsofts fault. I have received the red rings of death 3 separate occasions and now am on my 4th xbox.
I have tried for 3 straight weeks to laugh off the serious LIVE problems that have been running rampant. For every 2 hours i spend "trying" play COD4 online, I actually get about 20 minutes of playtime if I am lucky. It constantly tells me that I am not signed in, or that I need an active internet line, or some other such errors.
This is unforgivable. I will no longer pay for a service that does not work.
When the only thing my xbox will do is play rock band offline I am left with the lingering question... do I really need a $600 kareoke box.
The answer: Hell no.

I think this is probably a nice thing of microsoft. They did have a free game not that long ago carcassonne. Also aegis wing and yaris, so it will be hopefully a fun game like carcassonne was

Good news. Our Monday meetings with Microsoft have been changed to now include the Global Product Manager for Xbox LIVE Arcade. So I will be able to grill them a bit on the whole LIVE issue and why they chose a XBLA title instead of a month of Gold.
