EA delays several games

Electronic Arts yesterday made several announcements in their 3rd Quarter 2008 Fiscals and subsequent analyst calls that were not good for gamers. Two of their most anticipated titles, Battlefield: Bad Company and Mercenaries 2: World in Flames will not ship until Fiscal 2009 (April 2008 - March 2009). While they are expected to reach retail shelves prior to the end of the 008 calendar year, that is two more games that console owners wont see anytime soon. However, there was some good news in that Spore, often delayed, was announced that it should ship before the holidays.
