$50 price cut rumor for Xbox 360 heating up

Looks like the rumors of a $50 price cut for the Xbox 360 premium are starting to be backed up by scans of leaked retail ads for week of August 12th. CheapAssGamer has uncovered two ads, one from Wal Mart and one from Toys R Us that clearly show the Xbox 360 Pro with a $349 price tag. This rumor has been swirling ever since Sony declared a fire sale on their unwanted 60 GB PS3 with a $100 price drop at the start of E3. Looks like we will know for sure within a couple weeks...

why? I think they are selling good at $400 and they are worth every penny but if they want a price cut ok.

They are worth every penny for sure. Generally all the games that the PS3 has, the 360 offers with better graphics and online play. Don't get me wrong, sony has a nice piece of hardware but their price points are hindering them. The only games I really only like currently on it would be motorstorm. Their game lineup is really hurting them. People complain about DLC pricing and xbox live subscription prices but to me, thats the least we can do for them when they give so much to offer.

I dont know if i am lucky or something because i am on my 360 24/7(and im not kidding) and nether of my 360's(old or new) have overheated!!!
