Final Fantasy™ XIII

This game is quicksand. The more I fight and try to enjoy it, the quicker I sink into boredom and disappointment.

While I like FFXIII I still don't see how they could of came from a great game like FFXII (great IMHO) to this linear bore. I can only play for so long until I have to do something else because I get bored with it so easily.

Time to blow the dust off this thing and get some more achievements from it.

While playing this again today I was thinking the same thing Mikachu. The presentation has never looked for beautiful. If Square Enix would of incorporated features from other FF titles this could of rivaled for the best. 7/10 only due to the lack of towns, not enough transportation warps, and to much time switching your 6 paradigms based on what your going to fight.

While the game doesn't hold a candle to previous installments (namely FFX and FFVII), this game still deserves recognition for its absolutely beautiful visual presentation. The story and character development are perhaps hit or miss, which is more than I can say for some other games. Easily an 8/10.

Don't care for the inability to change party leader in battle, I mean, if the PL dies, game over? WTF, my teammate knows Raise, so why can't I be brought back? Also, why does the entire team like to bunch together? Oh, your a Sentinel? Let's all stand near him!!!! FAIL!!!! BUT, it's still good, I'd give it a 7/10. average game, would be awesome if the above was not in the game.

dude i was stuck on a thingy so then i beat and oi die by a regular pulse creature i was sooo pissed i havent played the game again since lol

Awesome game, Great new battle system. and traditionally great FF story.

Could some1 plz explain 2 me what FFXIII is? i know its an rpg but is it like turn based? what do u do?

@asup3rn1nja Yes, because a game that outsold MW2 in first week sales is really gay. And also the fact that you have to actually THINK when playing a game, choosing which attacks to use etc, makes the game better imo.
