Game these days are coming out crappy and seemed not fully finished. For instance Halo game for xbox one. Its got to be the worst game out there waiting to play online for 1 or 2 just to play 1 game. Don't get me wrong halo is a great game and but all it is now finish a game up and and sell it for max profit. what's your thought ???

Your thought on the Gaming industry

In my opinion gaming has gotten very sucky and kinda lame. Its like we are in time loop. Always getting the same game over and over just with different character and name of the game. Its just their is no creativeness anymore.

I enjoy gaming regardless. I go back to second generation with Atari 2600 and Coleco.
There have always been good games and not so good games...sequels, reboots, remakes, etc.
Not every game is going to appeal to the masses but if just a hand few of hardcore fans love it then in my opinion it was worth it. I disagree with your Halo position as the game has changed developers and it took Bungie a few versions to get to Halo 3. 343 will get there and I have a feeling Halo 5 is going to be a major improvement. I guess in summary and to answer your question I have no problem with the direction the gaming industry is heading. Technology is advancing and so are they but it doesn't happen instantaneously and there is always going to be trial and error. We have come a long way since Space Invaders and Pitfall.

I think the state of the industry is just fine. I think there's been plenty of issues as of late, broken games, shitty stories, too many rehashes. But this isnt to say there hasn't been plenty of good stuff in between. The best part is that it's becoming easier and easier for independent developers to sell their games and honestly some of those games are the best ones out there each time

I think the "release now, patch later" issue is the biggest problem. Publishers are pushing so hard to get their returns, each newer generation sees more and more hardware & software that is broken, often to the point of being unplayable.

I despise microtransactions and day one DLC. It's all a ploy to get us to pay more money for the full experience. I do believe that gaming goes through phases. Starting with Mario and going up to about 1995, it was side-scrolling platformers that were the big thing. Then starting with Resident Evil and Silent Hill, it moved into survival horror, until about 2006, when games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band got big. Now, it's all about first person shooters. I think we just need to wait it out, and the industry will be given new life with another big genre.
