yeah, top, that does make sense.
alot of good replies in this thread. personally, doing things that way aren't for me, but i was just curious lol. i'm similar to evol though, with not playing some games based on achievements. (with him he said what, he likes to get at least half of them? while i go for the full 100% unless i can't stand playing the game anymore lol)

I only own about 10 games haha. I usually buy a used game for a week then return it, sometimes ill buy 2 or 3 depending on how much money i have to spend. I usually only play CoD 4/W@W or Madden 09, unless i have waffle games to play or if friends want to party up for another game xD

I just play whatever I'm in the moood for. I dont like monotony so i may switch up from time to time, and sometimes i remember i havent beaten a certain game or there may be an achievement i woul dlike to get ( Tho im not much of an Achi. Whore. nor a 'Waffler' whatever that term means).
So i just play what is fun, most of the time I am like Noah though, same game for a while.

i've been a member here for quite some time now, and i always look at people's recently played games. it usually changes pretty quickly. personally, i buy a game, and i spend a long time with it. usually trying to complete it, lol. i've noticed that most users here don't do that though.
like, some guys and gals will have 3 or 4 games under their tag, and a couple days later the list is completely different. why is that? it boggles the mind!

I am a perfect example of someone you are talking about. My recent games are changing every couple of days. I use Gamefly 3 at a time and end up getting 3 new games every week. Once I rent it I decide one of three things.
1. I love it in which I keep it.
2. I like it in which case I try to get at least 500 gamerscore points on it.
3. I hate it in which case it goes back to the mail the same day it came.
You might wonder why I would rent games that I hate. Well I dont like going by reviews or other peoples opinion of games. I like to try all the games myself because I am my own person with my own likes and dislikes. Yes this does get expensive I think my gamertag on xbox.com says I have played 414 games, but then again changing the name of your gamertag all the time gets expensive also and people do that. cough Taco cough.
Other than that my recent games will also change due to the fact of games I own and arcade games that I may try out.
Hope this provides some insight on how the other side operates.
ive only changed it 3 times, to a total of 4 gts overall. i beleive coldhearted on here made a thread a long while back asking how many gamertags people had before the one they had at the time, and he had a list of like, 20 gamertags not kidding...so, there are people who are worse, but i think this one will stick. for a long time. im going to make a promise right now that i won't change this gt for an entire 6 months (that would be the longest i would have ever kept one) so until september 9, 2009, my gamertag will be the tacotron.

I think I have played Fallout 3 every day for well over a month. The only other games I have thrown in are Halo 3 and Halo Wars. They've been at the top of my list for quite a while now. I usually stick to a game for quite some time, especially Fallout. The only other game that will be added in will be 50 Cents Blood in the Sand.
The only time I have a random game appear at the top of my list and then disappear is when I am in a waffle mood and rent something.

I'll play a certain select amount of games, and then put a few away, and then come back to them later.
Regardless of whatever happens, I will play a game until' I am 100% done with it, which is very rare with multilayer games.
But you'll always see Halo 3 on my top five recently played games. I'm addicted, regardless of how stressful some matches get. Haha.
