Seriously dude. I had to take Calc twice in college because I got a D the first time and I needed a C. Stupid stupid class.

That blows. I took it for college credit in High School. I came really close to having to pay for the course because my grade was hovering around a C-D. The HS would only pay if you passed with a C or higher.

That said, I took the class with a Texas Instruments TI 30 Xa. I was supposed to buy a TI 83, which is a graphing calculator, but the stores near me were all out, so I got the TI 84, thinking newer is better, right?

Wrong. Due to the way they were programmed, the TI 83 and TI 84 would give completely different answers for the exact same problem. I went to return the TI 84 and they still didn't have the TI 83, so what did I do? Save the $125 for when the TI 83's got in stock? Nope, I bought a few new games and decided fuck it, I'll use my trusty TI 30Xa.

I sure am glad my teacher allowed up to 50% of what you missed on tests to be made up in group sessions the next day in class.....

Haha oh man, I was too intimidated/lazy/not wanting to to take it in HS. Instead of Calc, I took AP Stat senior year, and got credit for that, which was nice not having to take it in college... but I probably would've passed that in college, as opposed to stupid Calc.

SO glad I don't have to take anything over calc. All my engineering friends talk about Calc 2 3 4 5 100, and I just cringe looking at their work.

Whats funny is I LOVE calculus. I think its great.

Unfortunately I had to take stupid statistics for the nursing program. Didn't even get the option to take calculus. I mean geez if you're going to have a useless class at least let me choose right?

I also feel you on the TI situation Evil. I had a TI-85 from high school and my statistics class required a TI-84.....had to go blow 130 on that bad boy, at least I sold it to someone else for 50 a few weeks ago

People that get their rocks off to Calc and Trig need to DIAF.

What grinds my gears is I'm only 2 classes/6 credit hours away from a degree but 1 of those is a math class :growl:

The fact that we have not seen any dlc for the Beatles RB since December and that they appear to have none planned in the future grinds my gears. Apparently Harmonix is too busy with Green Day RB and RB3 which is just a bullshit excuse if you ask me. :no:

We had to put up with that kinda shit when we lived in Kent in a shitty apartment building full of drunken college kids and foreign students cooking all kinda nasty smelling shit stinking up the hallways. the new resident evil movie trailer grinds my gears too, the part where they show the executioner swing the axe looks so delayed n cheesy/fake, the trailer looked stupid altogether imo...also drunk people who ask u for somethin stupid then when u tell them u dont have it(cuz its somethin stupid that noone carries around with them) they get mad at u n accuse u of lying lol. Lastly for right now, when u want to have 1 gaming day to urself when u dont have to work and have nothing to do but ur significant other gives u a hard time about it n makes a big deal out of it...damn it just let me have 1 day for myself n go play in traffic somewhere.
