Oh, and did I mention that since I can't run a command without specifying where it is, I can't do a "Complete System Restore"?? Now I'm stuck with the virus on there with no way of removing it. The anti-virus program I have (Microsoft Security Essentials) is a jackass and all it does is TELL me that I have the virus, but to do anything, it wants me to PAY for the full version, otherwise it just notes that I have it and won't do anything about it.
Let's continue on with this horrible day. My 360 won't connect to Live no matter what. I have restarted my router/modem 5+ times and have unplugged/replugged both ends of the ethernet cord 10+ times, but no matter what, it won't connect. I turned off every other device in the house that uses internet in hopes of making the signal stronger, still no luck.
Now my question is: inside a 360, is there any component that is responsible for connecting you to Live that may be broken/faulty? My friend suggested that the ethernet port may be broken which I highly doubt since I've only plugged/unplugged the ethernet cord no more than 4-5 times ever since I bought this 360 (FFXIII Console).
The computer issue isn't that big of a deal since I have a friend who may be able to fix it. For the time being, I'll have to borrow my brother's laptop or use the computer at work. The 360 however, I'm really concerned about and hope that someone can give me some insight into it...
Due to obvious restraints, I'll be on XBA less often for now. As for Xbox Live, I'll have to wait and see what the problem is and if I fix it, I'll be on normally like I usually am.
Horrible horrible day
