Fable 3 I Heard was a HUGE letdown

I was WAY excited for Brink. Major letdown!
Oblivion was a major letdown because I bought into the hype without researching the game. Had I researched it I would have known it was not meant for gamers like me.
As for Rage. People keep complaining (other forums too) about it not having enough exploration, too linear etc. if you did any research you would have known that before buying. I loved it because it wasn't a long boring open world like Fallout etc.

For me, it was Shadowrun. I was sorely disappointed with the way they went with that game. They could have done so much more and done a much better job with it. I wouldn't mind if they did it like Fallout.

Borderlands. The ending to be specific and having to go through the same shitty quests all over again if you wanted to level up.

Borderlands.....and they’re making a sequel(yay?). The game wasn’t that great the ending was worse, I still haven’t brought myself to play the DLC that I got for free!
Dragon Age 2, hear me out here. I’m playing the games backwards(DA2 completed, working on DAO now), and while the game was a graphical overhaul from the first it just seems as if half of the game was left out. How many of you were wondering if that was really the end? Not too forget how badly they Mass Effected(dumbed down) the game itself.
Black Ops: I couldn’t care less for the story. While the multiplayer was as good as can be if you didn’t jump in for the first 6 months, I found myself wanting the main character (Mason, right?) to commit suicide. After the last few games fans deserved a story, less horribly bad choke points, and a character that people gave a damn about.

My exact thoughts on Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim. The ones before them sucked and they made another?
Just another reason they make so many different games to please different people. I loved borderlands and can't wait for the sequel. As for whoever mentioned playing the same missions again to level up? I never did, leveled up on dlc.

Your suggesting "Elder Scrolls Oblivion" and "Fallout 3" sucked? Different games may please different people, but you can't argue with near universal acclaim no matter how bad your anti-rpg bias is.
I got almost every achievement in Borderlands in one night playing with a friend. Got to see one of the worse endings of all time and then proceeded to watch the entire game spiral into a abyss of modded weaponry and items. I remember not being able to make a single public game without some jerkoff joining with infinite hp and weapons that killed everything in one bullet. Fun.

Yes I am saying they sucked. It's my opinion, for players like me those games are slow and boring. Acclaim doesn't mean a thing to me other than hey maybe it's worth trying. I know I'm in the minority but it doesn't discount my opinion that they sucked. It doesn't mean you have to agree and it shouldn't get people defensive. Play what you like no matter what anyone thinks, it's all about having fun for me. Couldn't care less who doesn't agree.

Like I said first 6 months when all the noobs are playing it and beefing up okay players’ stats.
