Ah yes, the classic problem of any store that deals in used merchandise, there is no way to control when product will be traded in or what product will be brought in. Since my store is the only one to deal in retro and items prior to the PS2 we get quite a lot of that in, but obtaining newer merchandise used can sometimes be very hard. After all, no one wants to trade in a controller the bought three months ago, only to find that they're getting half of what they paid for it. The prominence of Amazon and Ebay has a lot more people going online to sell their products, obtaining a larger worth with a bit more patience.
To summarize all that nonsense, it's all in the luck of the draw. We may not see a used PS3 controller for two months, then one week we'll get seven. That's just the way used works though, at least with new we keep in constant stock, until it comes to Wii merchandise, then they just lounge around and send out a couple systems every other week while laughing at all the parents frothing at the mouth trying to get one for their kids.
