For the love of god, how many times are we going to have people ask this same question over and over again....I couldn't tell you who asked the question before, how long ago it was, or how many threads we have had to this discussion, I even tried to search it, but I know I have heard this question before...and just like the other times it was asked....we have all said:
the 360 should stick to gaming, I heard AT&T has it to where you can access the U-Verse Cable TV or some shit like that, but it does not need the internet. Period.
Someone should sticky this question so people quit asking it.

Yeah unless they let you browse the web at the same time as playing a game i wouldnt be interested. Although if you could pause a game and then hit up a browser for some help then I feel it would be useful.

I don't see why not every other console has one and we already pay for our Xbox Live.

Didnt Microsoft just increase the amount we pay per year for XBL because of the new features they added which i dont even use (At the time it was ESPN, Kinect stuff and others i may have forgotten). Either youre gaming or youre browsing the net, pick one.

How so? Just because they don't have much money doesn't mean they fail.
Well I'm sorry but they can't be too bad off if they have a 360, games, and an internet connection. Besides computers aren't that expensive, unless they are building one from scratch.
if a computer is cheap its old, or not worth the time you would have to wait for it to boot. I built my gaming system for about $800 and it is amazing, and so far i do not have to swap a part to play a game, tho i want to anyway,

There are programs out there that you can install on your hard drive that will let you navigate the web through your 360. The only thing I am not sure about is whether or not they would consider it modding your 360.

You can pick up a 360 for $100 and a subscription to gamefly is $20-30 a month. The worst DSL costs around $30 a month, depending on who your provider is. That's a lot cheaper than $500-600 for a computer... And yeah, you can pick up a computer for $300 at WalMart, but if you want a monitor with it, it'll cost more... Our $300 computer ended up being over $600 with the replacement plan, monitor, sales tax, etc...
Or what about people who live with their parents? There may be a family computer, but the console is the thing in their room. Or people with roommates, or married couples... I know when Evol is home and on the computer, I can forget about getting on it for the whole day.
IDK, I can see a lot of situations in which a person would have a console and not a computer. Personally, I have no need for it, but I can understand why people would want a web browser for their 360.
Yeah I totally agree computers start of cheap but once you have what you want they can get pretty pricey. Although if you get a comp. to use a comp thats what you need and not an xbox cause they are no where near each other. But if you get an xbox to be a comp NOT GONNA WORK!
