I love the idea of this thread. Here's a few of mine.
Nirvana is an over-rated band.
As far as sports games go, Madden is the worst every year.
The Virtual Boy game console was awesome!
The Wii is better than people give it credit.
The Simpsons is better than Family Guy and South Park.

Batman Arkham city is overhyped, overrated and overblown.
LA Noire and Alan Wake are extremely boring and repetitive as hell.
Ann Hathaway is a terrible, TERRIBLE catwoman choice. Olivia Wilde anyone?
Japanese Baseball is better then the MLB.
Mel Gibson is still awesome.

Conan is a waste of an hour...worst show ever.
Soccer players are better actors than most real actors.
You have 48 minutes in nba, and 40 in ncaa basketball to win...stop dragging out the final 2 because you sucked the other 45/38 minutes by fouling every second. you don't deserve to win.

Arkham City was bad ass. One of my favorite games this gen. Story was short but you got tons of gameplay out of it because of all the other things to do.

Really? Wow, I mean I thought that may have been a problem before I played it. But honestly Rocksteady made it work.
Can't lie I'm quite surprised people hated this game.
I think most of the people that "HATE" the game where just pissed at how short the story was.......I was extremely pissed off at how short it was but still thought the game was the shit.....but for some reason i just lost all interest in the game after i finished the story
You are correct. It was very short for a game that promised to be so much bigger and better then the first. It just ended up being a larger prison to explore filled with the same content. Goons and riddler trophies.
Another reason I think it's overrated is your basically fighting the exact same enemies that you did in the first game. Henchmen with terrible AI and Titan brutes. They added a couple of new henchmen variants but the combat is so simple it's pretty irrelevant. Also all the boss fights are scripted garbage with no challenge whatsoever. The storyline is slightly less engaging then the first game but definitely is the strong suite of the game as a whole.
Don't get me wrong it's not a bad game and I don't hate it. But if you think it's a 10/10 or mind blowing you need to broaded your horizons gaming wise. Either that or you like extremely easy combat and nerd out to batman regardless of the short comings.
But my opinion on the title is a unpopular one and that's why it found it's way here.

Mayweather is a punk-ass for not fighting Pacquiao. Actually, that opinion might be popular.

Yeah, when you think about it, Christopher Nolan's never seemed to exhibit the best judgment when choosing the female leads for these new Batman films. Katie Holmes, Maggie Gyllenhaal and now Hathaway. I'm sure he had final say when it came to casting too. Holmes and Gyllenhaal didn't really detract anything from the first two films but they didn't really bring much to table either.

Olivia Wilde is not LANKEY and skeletor looking like Anne Hathaway. She's perfectly petite. Not to mention her face is infinitely better.
