i don't think it needs MP, but it could be interesting to say the least.
air assassination strikes in MP? oh hell yes.
really though... i'm not sure how much more AC i can take.

WHAT??! they're going to continue with Ezio?
eh, well after seeing the ending of AC2, it makes sense. but the ending also hinted at the present day being the next setting with Desmond at the lead imo.
that's good to hear though, i'm glad they're pretty efficient and on the ball already for the next game by releasing info this early lol. i can't wait for this one

not fair. i made an article about this over a month ago and it never got approved anyway, i dont really know what to think of an AC multiplayer. i cant really see it going well

They do NOT need multiplayer in ACIII the reason they are doning this is because Ubisoft wants to start enforcing that their games can only be played online. Why not make new achievements for the second onne before you go out and make another.

hmmm......tbh, i think of AC w/ MP kinda like Bioshock w/ MP
people will oppose it at first...ubisoft will hear the cries of "NO FUCKIN MP! NOOOO!" and then when they go to make the game...theyll make the mp super amazing and beast it up, and people will love it...
tho tbh, i dont like the idea of mp in ac. it was made a single player game, and i think it should stay a single player game. unless of crouse ubisoft makes some uber-beast mp, it will just end up failing....hopefully tho theyll concentrate on making another epic singleplayer and a good mp as well....i want an amazing single player if theyre gonna add multiplayer...js
but tbh, i think the 3rd mighta been cool w/ desmond being the main guy...but i mean ezio was pretty beast too....tho tbh, if they were gonna go w/ rome, they should go back in time to the roman empire...that might be interesting. maybe wed get to assassinate Julius Caesar, or any of the other roman emperors? that could be fun....
oh well, we'll just have to see how this plays out

I play AC for a single player experience. I dont see how they can do MP UNLESS its co-op, Desmond and Ezio

^haha my thoughts exactly. i believe that the final game in the series should star Desmond in the present day to tie the story up. although i can see it working out if they make AC3 half Ezio and half Desmond, with the Desmond portions actually being a full game, but that doesn't seem satisfying at all.

I wish they would have another historical assassin from the bloodline and not Ezio again. I think it would be cool if Ezio got a cameo like Altair did in 2, but I want more new freshness! I really liked AC2 so it will be interesting to see what they do with 3.

Unfortunately, I have AC2 sitting on the shelf unopened due to the launches of Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2 being so close together. I'm cautiously optimistic that the second game will be far superior to the first as Mini and Meta have both said that, and I tend to agree with their assessments of games. That leads me to believe that Ubisoft won't drop the ball on the third one. They have shown that they can use criticism to "right the ship," so to say.

this is what i think, i think that the next ones going to show us a little more of Desmond than the last. and the fourth one a little more than the last. the fourth game is going to be a new assassin for sure. i believe that in my original article i wrote i had read something that said this was going to take off exactly where we left off, meaning more Ezio. but since the game is co-op, i think this means that either we're meeting a relative of Desmond who will be the other player in co-op, or just another assassin who had an ancestor in Italy at the same time period who will meet Ezio at some point soon after beginning the next game. thats my current theory.
maybe TD works for Ubisoft too? maybe he can tell us whats going to happen?

I'm never buying an Assassin's Creed game ever again. I don't care how much the second game improved over the original, the game was boring. And if they're going to keep this complicated control scheme up for the third, and it's going to involve multi-player, I can't imagine it could possibly get worse.

This all sounds great to me, expect with the addition of multiplayer and co-op.
It seems like every great single player game is sticking an unnecessary multiplayer feature on these days. (Dead Space 2, Bioshock 2, and now Assassin's Creed III)
