Not really sure what your problem is. I made the site overnight. I was just trying to bring in some traffic while it's young. Actually, it targets news about Xbox 360 games and products. There is an emphasis on Marijuana as well.

So, not only (in time of course) wil the forum give you typical news, rants and reviews on Xbox 360 related items, but it will also remind and refer people to the news of Cannabis in modern day America.

So hey! I'm a gamer who enjoys weed, why not make a forum to share my common interests. What better place to do a little bit of advertising than XBOX AMERICA.

I posted the article targeting FPS because typically that's where most of my traffic comes in. No, it's not my first time with the interwebs or making a site.

I figured I could come here and ask for assistance, maybe get some graphic work done (because it's a fucking sin to ask others for help) & do shameless promotion.

But don't worry, it's not like I'm not an actual gamer with actual life goals and experiences who doesn't also post around on the forums.

Look... Um... I don't know who you are or what you're talking about. So from a neutral perspective, I can assure you that you've made three basic mistakes. 1) Joining the site and starting a thread solely to advertise your website is against XBA rules I'm PRETTY sure, although may be wrong, but doubt it. 2) Talking about an obsession with weed, which most people don't care to hear about and correspond with immaturity and youthful ignorance/naivety. And 3) you've clearly made a vague but personal attack in posting.. So with that all said, if you have a legitimate complaint, take it up in private, not in a thread. As somebody like yourself who "it's not my first time with the interwebs or making a site," i honestly would expect slightly more from you..

Don't take that as a personal attack, because it wasn't. Please just take it as aggressive constructive criticism from a pessimistic point of view!

And before you ask again (i just read your other recent thread about your site) who we think we are to have authority to tell you you are abusing our forums, we are members who have been here far longer than you will ever be, and therefore I'm pretty sure that actually does give us the right somewhere to tell you you are completely misusing our forums. And seriously, you have no place personally attacking people or the site just because you were told you can't advertise here. THAT is something that will absolutely get you no friends and nowhere fast but being banned.

When I said yesterday that one thread was enough to discuss your site and closed one, did you think making 2 more was the right thing to do?

Again, no it's not against forum policy to advertise another site, but harassing and verbally assaulting them is probably not the right way to go about it. Perhaps if you'd spent any time getting to know the people on the site first, you would have been greeted with a little more warmth. And you would have known enough about the site to know there's no need for threads in different sections, one really does cover it.

Now, my high horse is getting antsy, so I'm just going to close this thread down until a mod gets on, and go feed her.

You're actually being treated way nicer than usual--until recently, I just IP banned people without asking questions. This is an active community centered around Xbox stuff and it's up to you if you want to join us or not, but we aren't a box for you to stand on promoting your own forum.
