Game is actually pretty fun so far and kind of addicting, started playing it the other day switchin on and off and everytime my friend was playing it I wanted to steal the controller back and do stuff for my sim. I'm only like 4 weeks into my first sims life and its been a blast just learning the curve and all the things there are to do, enjoy progressing my character through his career and getting raises and upgrading the house. Feels just like the old Sims game back on the original Xbox only upgraded with way more stuff to do.

Does anyone know of easy money making ideas? I heard you can make up to $100,000 a week from royalties when you write a good book....but so far all I have been getting is around $500 a week or less.

Can you guys tell me approximately how much pressure is on you to complete goals or satisfy Sim needs versus how much time you have to just screw around?
Part of what I liked about the original Sims so much was you could screw around for a long time before having to pee or get a job or eat. When I played the Sims 2 it seemed like I constantly had to be satisfying some need or something and had very little breathing room, especially once I had 3 or more people in a house.

Game is definately addicting and fun, I have 2 issues however, I hate the fact that when you tell a Sim to go somewhere and do something and then leave the area to return home or whatever, sometimes the Sim just stops doing what you told it to do or likes freezes in the area and doesn't do anything at all for an extended period of time while their needs pile up and they go into a bad mood. Sucks if you're busy or preoccupied with other Sims and forget about them then switch to them hours later and they're literally just standing there in red bar instead of returning home like they normally would. 2nd issue has to do with when you progress in career and it tells you a new outfit has unlocked so you load into the closet area to change the outfit...well I had 2 of those pop up for 2 different Sims at the same time and I was hittin B to exit the one closet and I hit yes for the other outfit and it like loaded up that closet while saving my other closet and it glitched so now my main Sim, my character, is wearing his Doctor outfit with my wifes military hat/HAIR sticking out (she's a level 10 military person I believe) 
It's really fuckin weird, like, his hair is even her color and it only happens when he changes into his work outfit and I can't get it to go back to normal, so now he literally goes to work wearing his white drs coat n such with a bright blue military hat and long brunette/blondeish hair sticking out, I'll have to take pics next time I remember.

I have the Sims 3 on PC but I never play it. I loved the console version of the Sims on PS2 and it makes me want to pick this game up. Console sims > Pc sims
